An error has occurred and...

Post by hcpiter » Fri Sep 02, 2011 10:37 am

Hello !

I instaled today maxigo 3.x for max 2012 and when I try open any scene made in Indigo is this error about close 3ds max. I dont know why ?! I can just use merge but then I lost all settings.
Normal scenes made in vray or max works fine so its definitly bug from maxigo :/
How I can fix that ?

btw.
What about saving light layers in new indigo ? There is this feature ?

Thanks

We have exactly the same bug here. We even try on a clean max install to avoid any plugin conflict. Maxigo is nearly unusable.

This is a known issue and I also wrote about it in the header of Maxigo 3.x thread.
I haven't found a cure for it yet. Something changed in Max 2012 compared to older versions. Max 2012 is not officialy supported at the moment I guess.

Thanks guys for answer. I`m not happy about this because renderer is useless and works just merge option but then I must all time again setup everything in maxigo.
Is way out of this situation or when we will have a working plugin for max 2012 ?

At the moment there is one progamming issue that has taken me a bit of time to sort it out. If i get that solved, then there will be a new Maxigo plugin. But it's hard for me to say the exact time. It depends on a lot of things.

It works for some..
You could try to open Maxigo scene right after restarting Max.
