[REQ] MAxigo camera

Post by dcm » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:31 am

Own Maxigo`s camera with saveable presets (different f, iso, camera response etc for every camera).

Indigo doesn't support Max camera correction modifier.
I can only add what's supported by Indigo.

What do guys think, should I add an option to overwrite global "Samples Per Pixel" parameter under camera too?
That way you could do a batch rendering with separate cameras calculating to different SPP values. Like Cam01 renders until 3000 SPP is reached and cam02 renders until 1500 SPP.
Would that make any sense or not?

For future i tihnk could be useful. When GPU will be released. On single CPU machines, animations are "unreal" - meaning in production times, not weekends of rendering.
I think, YES :)

in C4D we have a global parameter for this that can be animated for frames.
So over night I often start multiple camera view renders, lets say 3 cameras that change for each frame.

This 3 frame animation renders with halt parameter to end up with some nice previews for breakfast.
halt parameters can be animated if needed, to fit for each camera view.

Well..I'm not talking about animation. I mean "Batch render.." tool under Rendering menu. From there you can setup multiple cameras to render and go to sleep. So you could for example leave your Pc to render 2-3 images of the same scene from different cameras. What I asked was that would it be useful to have an option to stop separate cameras in different SPP ? Maybe you need 1 full resolution image with like 5000 spp and 2 not so important images with 2000 spp. It could save time maybe..
