Semitransparency? (lampshade model)

Hey there,

I'm currently working on an interior render for a friend of mine. For this, I need to be able to render some lampshades, with a diffuse appearance yet with a soft glow from the lamp behind them. I tried a transparent diffuse material, which almost worked, but only on the exterior; the interior was too transparent and you could easily see right through to the wall behind it.

So I'm looking for a semi-transparent material. I found http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... 81&start=0, but couldn't get any good results based on his work. What tips can you guys give me?

I'm using Indigo 1.1.16 and Blendigo 1.1.14. I know it's well outdated, I haven't been doing much in a while (and last time I updated indigo/blendigo, a scene I'd been working on or ages and had just got right was messed up and I had to light it from scratch).

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. How do I use indigo material files in Blendigo? Do I have to edit the indigo export file manually, or can blendigo handle it?

EDIT: Don't worry, I copied the material by looking at the source. Thanks for the help.

Material Type --> External --> Find the .igm file

To export the material I think all you have to do is click the "Save" button and then name your file and select the right folder. or you (i think) can export your scene with "Separate Mats" enabled,
