Firstly it's looking good. Not much wrong with it except the images. I think they could on the whole look better. However they do illustrate the points well.

OK here what I found/ think.


#1: Might be better not to mention what version of Python to use or have a link to it as it's likely to change from time to time. The correct version can be linked where the Blendigo download is? This will save you having to update this document all the time or it getting out of date.

#2: 'Blendigo expects to find Blender at these locations:' fine if you always use the defaults. Maybe a short sentence briefly explaining how to install to a non-standard location?

#3: I think the images representing the clay render setting could better represent what it does.

#4: 'these settings aperture is only noticed when viewing the effects of aperture diffraction' Bad english :wink:

Thats about it for me. Only suggestions.... :wink:

why ? I can't understand why the restriction ( like the m$ thinking )
If I use 10 blender version and 10 Indigo ( 10 blender 1 location ) ? Don't question ,why ?
Unnecessary restriction , unnecessary

Well you CAN install a non-standard location fo Blender and have Indigo install to it. Just need to be aware of how to do it. Which is what I am suggesting to Benn that he explains how in the documentation.

But I do agree with you in principle. I don't mind defaults for novice users but all of the program and file save paths should be made optionally as end user choices and not hard coded. I don't want my boot drive filling up with .IGi and render files buried away in the users folder. For me its a pain in the rear.

Would be nice to have a detailed explanation about how to use ISL shaders with blendigo.
Can you write them in Blenders text editor and then use them in blendigo?
You mention it in the manual, but without explanation on how it's exactly done.

Can you link to the Indigo manual and the Indigo technical manual, where it is mentioned in the Blendigo manual?
A index would be nice too.

And about the pics, I try to create some cleaner ones. ;)
