hi guys, i am very new to indigo and have successfully exported a blend scene as an indigo file, my problem is, this message in the console is printed. "doing initial warp up......"

I have waited for it to finish doing its warm up for several minutes, but still, it stays the same, I have checked the task manager, (i use windows 7 beta), and my cpu is being used as it should be when a render is taking place...

i there anyone who knows how to fix this? or maybe i am encountering version issues? maybe i am not using the latest one? I don't know... but my real problem is the "initial warm up" thing seems not to stop? how long does it take in normal computer conditions?

Generally speaking, the trickier the light paths in scene, the longer the warmup. If it takes really too long (more than 1mn) you want then to check your lighting solution, specially lights surface normals. Likely, light is either trapped somewhere in your scene or (mostly) spread in the wrong direction.

Unfortunately ashton didn't told us which Indigo version he's using. I suppose what is happening here is that he's using Indigo 1.0.9 stable along with IES light sources in the scene. I encountered that in such setup (with 64-bit Linux version precisely) Indigo goes in infinite loop at warm up stage. So my recommendation is to upgrade to the latest experimental version (1.1.18).

Uhm.. ok guys, i will try your suggestions and recommendations... uhm.. any tips on how to deal with ver1.1.18? can't seem to find a proper exporter for it...
