F-Stop parameters

Hi, i am using blender 2.44, blendigo 0.9 and indigo 0.9.10. My question is in the camera tab in blendigo, in the F-Stop option, the higher the number (ex. 64) the more blur i will get? I tried changing to higher and lower, but i didn't see the difference. I unchecked autofocus and selected a object and pressed seleted button. Thanks in advance.
