Indigo still has feature areas that are far behind maxwell. I had been very seriusly considering useing Indigo in my rendering work but had a client purchase Maxwell for me.

im maxwell user and i think indigo may be faster on some situations..believe me....indigo on interior scenes are much muuch more fast than maxwell.......indigo is a diamond of computer programming i think...total minimalisic and powerfull!future releases i think make it more and more usefull and flexible than many commercial rendering engines (

hmm.. On my poor PC any render is slow (except Blender's internal )
I was wondering about rendering time when people use Indigo or Maxwell for interior scenes for day light simulation (a room lit only through a window). I tried to render my interior scene with Indigo and even after 24 hrs of rendering it was still noisey
(but it looked realistic though).

hmmm well my interiors clean up with 2-3 hours of rendering....with 5 hours is totaly clean in indigo....soon i will post an interior scene i cook in indigo this days....its too clean and nice!!!indigo rules....commercian renderers sucks!!!

wow!p4 1.4ghz is the most unstable pc i have ever worked with it!my old p4 1.4 with ddr ram it crashes every hour!!! damn intel or motherboard manufacturer or....i don know....man u need upgrade...

Indeed, I have Dell, but thank God, it doesn't crush I have another box here, but mobo died in it. It was better PC: P4 2.4 Ghz with 512 Mb DDR400 RAM.

hope the ram & chip didnt get shoked, maybe u could switch em out (can i call em or waht? ;p ) or wait till Kentsfield comes out, well all have fun then!

Nevertheless indigo isn't the looser in this camparison,

Maxwell is generally faster right now.
However Indigo should be speeding up quite a bit,
in particular when 0.6 is done it should be more comparable.
