Projector Lighting

Post by mpro31 » Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:51 am

Trying to do a project for a client that needs projector lighting. Since it is not available in indigo yet, I'm trying octane... which among others, is terribly slow in complex scenes. Missing so much Indigo Engine..
Hey team, please consider adding this feature. I'm so allergic to other renderers...

you could use sss evironment with indigo 4.4.15 to get octane / redshift styled volumetric lighthing (just tweek transmitter material settings):

Hi Wob, thanks for the reply, I wasn't talking about volumetric lighting but projector lighting (light beams an image/video)
thanks anyway:)

Couldnt you make a projector with a textured light source.....theoretically the light "projected" would then actually beam whatever the image was/is.
Look at wobs file and texture the light source it should....should then show the image on the cube.
