Couldn't be that hard to implement for people like Nick or Yves.

+1. Is there any renderer except Indigo that doesn't support HDR?

HDR is a old obsolete licensed image format that creates way bigger file sizes then EXR and is way less flexible.
The film industry totally dropped that format and uses EXR...

I have no idea why you guys are into that format???

my HDRI images are all in EXR format saving GBs of data...
(convert by a simple action that processes whole folders via PS or maybe even GIMP...)

..well, you know...we're old buddies mate!

Personally, I didn't know the things you said, and I'm glad to hear them.I just asked for HDR support because I usually fnd that format sold into popular dvd site resources, and it's a little annoying to convert them into EXR. That's all.

OKAY. OKAY. I'm lazy. SO WHAT!?

The holy grail of HDR images! The link is quite hidden until it struck me that it should be under Greg Ward search for hdr images.
