Why not a linux/MacOS version?

Why are there no ports to any other platforms such as linux or MacOS of Indigo?

I think the scene of Mac-Users is big enough for a OSX release of Indigo,
using indigo in a emulated virtual pc environment is kinda crap, because the long rendertimes are streched even longer.

i love the rendering outcomes of indigo, and im sad about it, that i cant use it on my mac...
and i bet alot of people are in complete agreement with that.

is there any version in planning?

best regards johannes eich

Feel free to buy Ono a Mac, and I'm sure he'll have no problem releasing a mac version.

OOTH, technically, Indigo shouldn't be that hard to port (if nothing else, the console version).

This is spoken as a non-developer of Indigo :P

I don't think i'll get accurate performance measurements from a VM.

you dont need performance (you can test that on the windows client), you just need to know it runs!

With a machine like the one you orderered Ono, I'm sure in a Virtual Linux environment you will have no trouble at all. Thx for that extra effort ;)
