Cryptomatte (Feature Request)

Dear Indigo-Development-Team,

have you yet heard about Cryptomatte?
If not, here is a little demo movie about it: https://vimeo.com/136954966
And here’s an explanatory summary as pdf: https://github.com/Psyop/Cryptomatte/ra ... poster.pdf

In short:
With Cryptomatte, ID mattes can be created automatically with support for motion blur, transparency, and depth of field, using organizational information like names, object namespaces, and material names in a very clean and intelligent way.

It is released as open source and already integrated in a variety of other render engines like Arnold, Redshift, V-Ray, Pixar RenderMan, 3Delight, Houdini, Clarisse, Blender Cycles and I think in some others as well as in all the established compositing solutions like Nuke, Fusion, After Effects, Flame, Houdini Compositor and Blender Compositor.

So you can call it meanwhile practically a de-facto standard for ID mattes in the industry.
And an integration in Indigo Renderer would definitely be a highly valuable and very welcome addition to it too.
Do you agree with me?

Here is the link to the project site on GitHub: https://github.com/Psyop/Cryptomatte

Kind regards
Tom
