Hello, I am wondering how to do a render from sketch up where the background is a true white but also contains a shadow from the product. I design furniture and want to have clean presentations for clients. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: How to render from sketch up with white background
Hi! In your case I would use shadow pass compositing to get the perfectly white background.
See this tutorial: http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... s-tutorial
In your case you don't need a background image or a HDRI, just use whatever studio setup you like and post your furniture alpha render and your shadow pass on top of a perfectly white background in Photoshop.
