Heee seems you got hold of the exporter .. great ... 8) 8)

but for the comparison ... the second PC with only 700MHz does not seem
to make a big difference here..

cheers

Heya wzn,

I guess it depends on the power of the machine that you'll use to
run the manager on ... 'cause it has to combine the whole data. ;o)

take care

So any idea how well Indigo scales with more computers ?
Like would 1 machine that takes 12 hours to render a frame,
would 12 machines render it in 1 hour ?

cheers

It all depends on the power of each machine. My main comp can render a given scene at 40k muts/sec while my older comp can render at 15k muts/sec. Add them by network and you get 55k muts/sec. But it also depends on your scene. One scene i made was rendered at 23 000 muts/sec on my main comp but only 300 muts/sec on my other comp :(

Youll need to experiment to see what speed boosts you can get :)

Thanks Maluminas,
If I every get some free time, it will be spent playing with Indigo.
It looks brilliant.
