Gametrailers is putting up a list of 50 reasons why this year's E3 is going to be awesome (and from what I understand they're adding one new item to the list everyday until E3 arrives)

While I can't, won't, don't want to judge the legitimacy of the items on the list I think it's a good way place to learn about what might be of interest at this year's show and what I will be checking out in the near future.

It seems the items aren't placed from most to less "hyped" on the list.

btw you tried Red Dead Redemption yet?. It's turning out to be my 2nd fav game of all time (GoW2 is first of course!). The environment graphics are amazing - the full gamut from beautiful sunsets to darkly brooding rain & thunderstorms. One of the most realistic environments I've ever played in real time - almost photo-realistic in places.

I've heard Red Dead Redemption was rather buggy so I'm not touching it for now, but I was originally interested.

Thats a neat trailer - looking good

BTW I haven't hit any major bugs in Red Dead - just some minor graphic glitches but nothing that interferes with the gameplay - this is in single player mode as I haven't really tried the multiplayer. It's a great game imho

Today - New York faces an alien invasion in our exclusive look at Crysis 2. Plus, we've got gameplay debuts for Vanquish and F.E.A.R. 3, and the world premiere of Red Faction: Armageddon.

Ok so I just watched the Microsoft Press Conference live on Spike TV and here are the things I thought were the most interesting:

1) New Xbox 360 model shipping this week (250Gb HDD, and built-in WIFI, and apparently is really quiet) For how much you ask? The same 299$ as the current model. Here is a small picture of it...
2) Gears of War 3: the 4 player co-op looks bloody fun, I just cannot wait!!!! (Doug will probably agonize until it comes out )
3) MGS:Rising looks like fun, I'm not much of a fan of the series so far but this installment looks promising, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that.
4) Halo:Reach: solo campaign goodness I can't wait for the game to come out!
5) ESPN partners with Xbox. I'm don't know if it'll turn out like Last.fm (aka it'll only work in the U.S) but anyway if you're an xbox live gold member you have access to ESPN at no extra cost.
6) Project Natal (renamed "Kinect"): Lots to say about this, although I'm not found of everything they've done with it since a lot of it is aiming for the casual audience Nintendo has. So I'll concentrate on what I did like: Voice recognition being able to say "Xbox - Pause" to pause a movie instead of looking for the controller and remembering which *&?%*** button is pause is awesome. Video Kinect (also available on Live Messenger) allows you to video chat with other Xbox's and people on MSN (who I guess need a webcam). The demo of the Forza people where they use Kinect to walk around the Ferrari and check it out and also race it was rather interesting although I'm not entirely sure it would be as easy to play without a controller.

If I remember anything else I'll add it somewhere. Also I'd like to the Gametrailers video page for the conference but it seems theres currently a high traffic keeping me from accessing their site at all.

Check out this trailer for SW-TOR. Animation is superb. Might have trouble connecting due to high traffic. Can't wait to see this in HD.
