Alright great the model is up!

One thing- could you offer the model in .OBJ format? I needed to download the Sketchup Pro trial to export it to .OBJ, then import into my modeling package, and it did not support .skp imports.

Ehi Bakbek, great idea!
I haven't tested the scene yet, but I'm gonna do it soon.
BTW I added your blog to my bookmarks list: it is wonderful. Congratulations!

The import script for collada files in blender is outdated, so I couldn't import it that way.

Hey,
just load the actual SketchUp Pro Trial, it works for 30 days... there you can export to Wavefront OBJ, with minimal tri-polys.
Have fun! And show all the VRay- and Maxwell-guys out there the power of Indigo!

I'm on this one. I'm pretty sure I'll be using Indigo as well. Time to see instancing at work again!
