Mind = blown.

For real.

I'm pretty sure these are the most beautiful "photos" of the moon I have ever seen. Masterful!!

So many thanks! Very appreciated...

I am going to put this "photograph" up for sale, along with a few others that I will re-render in a larger format.
I would also be open to professional commissions.

Some hope :)

I'm still researching synthetic photography. This one came out a bit noisy, I'll have to back out. 4K 3/2, 40 h, 4000 spp.

Impressive. Are the clouds ISL?

No ISL by the moment. Super complex for this scale.
Is possible to drive a SSS shader with the map? Though that Ono doed once with an Hurricane...

looks awesome !

if I may ask, how to create this "planet simulation in Indigo ? using real world scale or just regular sphere with texture and a "outter" sphere with athmos medium ?

from NASA with "EPIC camera".

If you want to use physical atmosphere, you must go to real scale. Otherwise as you want.

An example of atmosphere ("A Sky") is in page 3 (for Cinema 4D).
I recommend to you the "Blue Marble" datasets from NASA for the maps.
