Hi, it's time to start.
More than a work in progress, less than finished art, all kinds of disciplines ... will fit here.

Vespertine.

Subtle photographic grain.

Ulysses had to fight against the harpies. An F 18 fighter would have been more appropriate.

Thanks fused, :).

An old one I´m trying to recover... strong photographic grain.

3K. 28 h. A bit denoised.
One last step remains with Substance Designer ...

Systematic.

An approximation.
HD, 10 h, 36 mm film (let's assume that it is analogic). MLT Bidir. Linear tonemapping. Photographic grain.

An Olympus 150 mm objective with 11 lenses (out of scale in this one).
Things got worse. It is really difficult to setup a camera.
It is possible to use a material coating for the lenses. Under investigation ... (it must be a coating indeed).
From here, the term synthetic photography begins to make sense.

Diaphragm don´t work as expected.
Aperture difraction don´t work as expected.
Always getting an hyperfocal version (let me try with shorter objectives more over)...

Same scene!!! Lazy of me :).

16: 40h.
Anti-reflection coating.
I have to improve the accommodation for the lenses, they are currently modeled by precedence and shed improper brightness.

Much more correct. 13:30 h.
Orthogrephic camera sensor 35 mm ... (full format).
Corresponds to 162 mm focal length with the indigo camera.

If I had been more attentive I would have removed the radiator from the image.
Rotated, is more attractive.
The signature of the lens glare is a little odd.
Added very subtle photographic grain, as is not finished at all.

A valious image for me.

Path tracing. 2:36 h. 950 samples per pixel. 4K.

The Moon trough atmosphere.
The Moon.jpg
MLT bidir. 96 min (without oceans for Earth). One LUT is very crisp, the other ultra soft. Metropolis residual noise.

Take 2.
The Moon_trough_atmosphere.jpg
PD: At the moment (Indigo 4.4.1), the atmosphere material don´t works for me with the extra-atmospheric sun. Works with a perfect sphere as sun. The used solar spectrum is not so accurate and beautiful as indigo´s one. But is possible...

The problem is obviously the extra-atmospheric sun. When it is used whit atmosphere (and something more than two perfect spheres for earth and atmosphere are in the scene) the memory increased till indigo crash, or simply don´t sample.

Diafrprhagm animation in a dark room with lenses. MLT bidir, 120 spp.
Maybe to do something else in the future... atm only exploring.
