11h 23min. A masterpiece of light. Only possible with indigo. Not finished indeed, better. Some space to imagine. With problems with model and smoothing... the same, a masterpiece of digital artesany. If you love indigo for a reason, this is one of this...

Re: h
Hello Alamy, thank you.
About the questions of the other thread, I will try to manage new planetary scenes and is planned to share the workflow. It is very simple and too complex at the same time. Stay there...
The other question is simple, enclose your scene within a box (a bit bigger) and give to it a specular material with an IOR of 1, no absorption and a subttle SSS (try some values), try the uniform spectrum for the mediums and give to it a precedence of 2 (don´t forget to rise other material precedences if required).
8∇_(S966). Or simply "matter".
80 hours of render, +63K samples per pixel ... perfect spheres are in this way ... The concept is essential and exact. Try to poligonize the spheres and you got a perfect image in 20 hours (but not this apperture diffraction). The HDR manipulation is needed to see all the light process but dirt a lot the solution. There is to see what must be seen (erotic). Perfect spheres don´t work in indigo 4.6, try 4.4 sereies or the first 4 series for physical apperture.

Re: h
Thanks for the reply, I'm here waiting for this amazing workflow, and I will try making this box with fog material, I hope that I will reach the same result, Can you tell me exactly what type of light is inside these spotlights? is it light material or an ies file? ... outstanding new test here, so is it better to use the 4.4 or the first 4 series?
Re: h
HI Alamy.
The light was a material with an IES file, can´t remember more.
Only perfect spheres and physical aperture difraction are conditioned to a prior release. Perfect spheres work for 4.4.16, more over don´t work. Physical aperture don´t work in all the 4 serie, except in the first releases.
In art is considered like an accumulation.

Your work and renders are just incredible, can you tell me where I can find the mie_cumulus phase function, I want to make some tests.yonosoy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:16 pm9h pure 4K.

I want to achieve the same effect that comes from the sun rays with the trees, Is this done by the box & Fog way?yonosoy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:57 pm42 min., metro bidir, pure 4K.

Re: h
You must change the tag "uniform" for mie_cumulus with a text editor, is not inplemented:
</scattering_coefficient>
<phase_function>
<mie_cumulus>
</mie_cumulus>
</phase_function>
Render settings, render mode, metropolis bidirectional. Test it. Seems that you are a "GPU animal"
(is normal, I understand).
The top of the box is deformed with a meaning of the landscape (very few polygons, less octaves, same code. Do it in houdini is simple. If I have time I give examples of that. The fog is mie cumulus.
