Obviously no one apart Glare Tech can answer for sure.
Reading here and there on the forum appear that first 3.8 release need to be done and next they will start working on GPU version.
3.8 appear to be almost done, so I (just my personal opinion) expect a beta version of GPU renderer early next year.
