Hello guys! Soon I'll be travelling to the UK and I pretend to buy a good rendering workstation there. What do you guys think it will suit best for Indigo renderings? A dual xeon e5 2620 or a i7 3930k(with overclock)? The price difference between these two systems is 300 pounds ( the i7 is cheaper)
Thank you very much!

hey there shiduo,
look i have the beastly i7 3930k but unfortunately when talking about rendering, i guess you better go for the Xeon's as they have faster ray tracing, and scene rendering, but know this that if you are trying to use ADOBE compatible softwares and Photoshop you better go for the 3930, i guess your into the 3d scene i would suggest the xeon's the both of them together produce much more power rendering then the 3930.
you can also upgrade yourself for almost the same price for 3960 which is better then two xeons and a bit better then the one 3930
good luck
