Following my post about cinemagraphs, here is another "motion against stillness" technique I just came across.

This is from the blog of Joost van Dongen, creator of Proun (a game you also really should check out).
The image above is actually a teapot falling down and bouncing off the ground.
He made a script (for teapot users only :/) to generate those models, that you can download freely...and eventually render later with Indigo :)

I like the concept very much, just like Eli says. And to second the author:
What I find absolutely fascinating in this technique, is that the shapes it creates are at a strange middle ground between abstract and figurative.
Nice finding.
