I have use sunlight for my scene and get the strange effect with white facade part, instead of red!
Whats wrong? I have use red color texture and the next material settings:

Sorry, on material picture I had used a blue, but for a render it was a red one.

I think the spec value is too high (use something like 0.2), and if you use a texture then your material must be pure white.

The "Spec"-value (1.0) gets multiplied with "Spe"-color (0.02, 0.02, 0.02) and that's ok in my opinion. But the "Ref"-slider (1.0) = indigo's "fresnel_scale" is very high

i propose to set "Ref" to around 0.1

the "Ref"-slider (1.0) = indigo's "fresnel_scale"
Code: Select all
I didn't know that. It's not mentionned in the blender-->indigo tutorial. What effect does it make ? I mean, what is the fresnel scale ?

The HARD value 60 is too high, I change it to 1 and got nice pic, but Im not sure that it is right!
