Memory Allocation failure

Hey Everyone,
I have modeled a chapel in SketchUp and Indigo won't launch. It gets to subdivision 9 in the little dialogue box and then stops. The message I get is "indigo diverexcep: Memory allocation failure when initializing indigo." I have done everything I can think of to simplify the model, including exploding components. I have also been able to get large sections of the chapel to render, just not the whole thing. This is part of a much larger model, and I have successfully rendered other views. Please help!!

thats a ton of subdivision .. is it really necessary? reducing that setting would help with this error.

what version of skindigo are you using? you may not have changed it, it may have been the default setting, but like i said, it may not be necessary to have it set so high. in fact, are you even intending to subdivide a material in your model?

I am using the 1.18 version. I don't even know what subdivision is...how do I change that? I looked in render settings and didn't see it.

was there a skindigo version 1.1.18? the setting you're looking for should be in the material editor window under mesh subdivision. select the culprit material and then you can reduce the max subdivisions number there. you might also consider setting the displace setting to 0 to disable subdivision. hope this helps. gl
