ups..that may actually be a Maxigo bug.
Do you have "Fix Mesh Errors" turned on? If yes, then see if that "ring" goes away when you turn off the error fixing.
If it doesn't, then it's not a Maxigo bug. If it does, then it is

No I not turned on the FIXED.
If I put the teapot more far the circle is not visible.

Then it should not be Maxigo's issue...i think..
Can you share the *.max file?

yes this is .max file (3d studio max with SP2)
and again another little issue...
If the plane (exit-portal) is not aligned with the wall inside
the room I see the circle and a black area out-side the exit-portal
probably I'm wrong something... but I not understand what...
I USE:
- Intel Core Duo 2 -- 1.8 GHz -- 2GB DRAM
- ATI Mobility Radeon X1400
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
3D Studio MAX 9 with SERVICE PACK 2
Indigo Render 0.9 T2
Max to Indigo - 0.9.3c

probably I solved the problem.
The proble is the MAX object Teapot
this standard version of teapot has in some edge the
normal inverted and this is what you see in exit portal
the exit-portal is like a mirror of wrong normals?
so If i put a shell with 1 unit to teapot and I tranform the
entire object to polygons all is ok...
- The problem of black area out-side the exit portal I not solved...
the current image is a shell teapot...
