Hey there,
having some heavy landscape things here I strongly ask for an indigo proxy functionality. Especially with the exporters.
It would be sooo cool just to export, in my case, only all the foliage and static scenery ONCE in IGS or PIGS format, and then only export camera animation, render and light settings and animated things from f.e. Cinema 4d.
Export time could be A LOT faster that way; especially regarding subframe sampling...
what do you think?
For now I will try to do it by hand with a script for every exported IGS in my 100 frames IGQ... but that is really no solution.
Please consider...
Thank you very much in advance!

Re: [REQ] Indigo Proxy Support
Afaik C4d now only exports meshes once if they are static over the animation.
You need to use the latest beta from the forum, and not the exporter provided with the Indigo installer for this

Re: [REQ] Indigo Proxy Support
I thought I know... but I have some non-static foliage which I want to export "naked" and then always apply to all my scenes externally.
Do you mean that exporter?

I already use it a long time...

Re: [REQ] Indigo Proxy Support
Only static meshes in my scene, only moving camera.
Exporting animation from Cindigo results in 1,3GB per IGS file. Nothing seems to be referenced here.
A bunch of <model>-tags (meshes with polygon selection) with each rotation quaternion etc... which is definately not used, because they are not changing.
I now try to avoid polygon selections and use only proper models.
