Windows 10, Sketchup 2016 Indigo keeps crashing

Hi,
I am evaluating Indigo before deciding whether to buy it so please forgive my ignorance.
When I export my model out of Sketchup 2016 I get a Indigo has stopped working message. Every so often it works ok. Any ideas?
My technical details are:
Windows 10 Hone V 1511 10586.36
Intel Pentium 645 2.9GHz processor
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 610M
My drivers are all up to date.
Stupid question but does Indigo only render the items displayed in between the black bars or does it render everything in the Sketchup Model and then only display the are items within the black bars?
Thanks in advance.

Indigo loads the whole scene into RAM, also everything out of camera.
It could be that your 4GB of RAM are simply filled up and there for Indigo has issues.
Doublecheck RAM usage of your system for such problematic scenes!
To reduce RAM usage reduce SuperSampling down (for testing down to 1) and try not to use Light Layers, reducing resolution would help to for testing.
Both features doesn't cost any performance during rendering, but they can cost quite a lot of RAM, depending on your output resolution.
btw: I'm also on win10 and never had or heard any issues with Indigo and that OS.

Hi All,
I made the suggested changes and deleted most of my model. I can now get Indigo to render so thank you. However, for some reason it will not render a specific material in sketchup. I have made sure that the material is defined via the picker but it does not seem to be exported into indigo. Any ideas?

please reduce the scene down to the object with that material and upload it here so the devs can check that

Hi, Forgive me but how do I do that?
Is that the same as saving it as a scene?
Thanks

Simply delete all non relevant objects from your sketchup scene, and upload this sketchup file

(double-check that this issue is still persistent in that file!)

Hi Guys,
I am struggling to upload the model. I have deleted everything that I can and even when it is zipped it is 20MB. The upload times out before it loads. Any ideas?
Thanks

Which material are you having problems with? It seems to render OK for me...

Hi Bubs,
Thanks for trying it. When I try to render it Indigo crashes. It did render for a while but I got the results further up the post. The grass on the right hand side was blue not like the grass on the left which is as expected.
I presume it is to do with the spec of my PC. What did you use?
