[REQ] HDR Light Studio integration

Post by Sroka8888 » Sat Mar 01, 2014 12:05 am

Requests: Indigo supports a live connection with HDR Light Studio, like Arion or Maxwell :)

+1000

I use HDR light studio all the time, but the workflow is tedious - having to export .dae files from blender to import to HDR Light Studio, setting up the HDRI, then exporting the HDRI, having to mirror it horizontally in PS for some reason, then back into Blender.

... bump!
Great Feature for the v4!!
Oscar: in the meantime (...) just use the Octane export option, then the heading should be correct.

[REQ] HDR Light Studio integration

... Right with a sample video with oscar shading and studio-lighting one of his great car models in realtime...
There could ne no better indigo 4 feature video for the release showing the speed and beautiful light.

I hope you guys of Glare start a massive campaign for Indigo.

I would be more than happy to do a video like that!

The GPU renderer in v4 has potential to be the best car/product rendering software of them all because of its speed and quality.

What it needs is probably some specialised materials (esp an easy to use carpaint with GUI controls) and good integration with HDR Light Studio.

:D
I really would code it if I could.
Plus a tire shader, which simply maps the front frontal and the profile zylindrical, with a blend slider for position and blend width...
