Wow! So a few of my renderings (the 93 Tram Rd. apartment set) have been gathering some pretty serious acclaim in a couple of places since I posted them a couple of days ago.

Firstly, they made the Evermotion.org front page yesterday/today (http://www.evermotion.org/vbulletin/sho ... hp?t=81427) which is a pretty huge step for me as that is one of the most popular arch. viz communities with professionals from all over and a high standard of excellence. The work there has always been a huge source of inspiration and (I won't lie) envy for me, so it feels crazy to be noticed there!

Second, I just found out that they were also selected for the Visualization Pro of the Week over at CGarchitect.com (http://forums.cgarchitect.com/61052-tom ... 010-a.html) which is an immense honor, seeing as that highly distinguished site ties together about 33 000 visualization professionals, architects, artists, etc. Its close ties to the AEC industry make it a very valuable resource and a good measure of current standards of quality in professional arch. viz.

Third, a while back one of the renderings in that set also snagged a Daily Deviation over at deviantART.com (http://stompintom.deviantart.com/art/93 ... -164364756) which was another first for me and another great moment.

So, many many thanks to all! Big shoutout to Glare Team for making it possible :D

I've also agreed to write a 'making of' for Ronen Bekerman's architecture blog (http://www.ronenbekerman.com/) both because I owe him one from the GH House time and because he's doing an awesome job of putting loads of cool work and invaluable knowledge at our fingertips through all the interviews, tutorials and competitions he hosts!

Just thought I'd share the good news. Those renderings would not have been possible without Indigo and all the help I've gotten here!

Yes Tom! Congratulations for all of your work and for the completely deserved success.

I was a little curious about the way you have been voted, I mean: you posted your work all over the three sites you've been mentioned, didn't you? Then the users voted you, or something similar, right? I never knew if one could be voted or quoted from other sites or something..

Sorry  got a bit too excited! I thought making a new post just for those specific 3 would be alright.

Pibuz, yes, I posted the renderings on those forums (CGarchitect, Evermotion) and they got picked up by whoever manages that stuff. I've been in touch with Ronen about writing a Blender + Indigo article for his blog so he spotted these ones and we decided to do the 'making of' about these particular ones.

Thanks guys!
