Super,

it would be nice to see the tubes when they are hot
Personaly I would make the wood a little more reflective.

I'd love to see a hot red neon colored emitter in the tubes, makin it look screaming!

Fantastic modelling and render.

Hi Kosmo,

could you please post your tests about the rendering with hot tubes, this would be really interesting :!:
(perhaps in work in Progress)
And also how you modelised the tube.

I suppose the sucsess of such a rendering (in my opinion) is the quality of the model, because indigo is so perfect.
So I think we must create better model (more precise and more detailed).
And your scene is right know really detailed (I mean the amplifier)
This really a lot of work
(But perhaps it will be sufficient to see a test with one tube)

And finally, I like this picture.

It remembers me on another picture here in the indigo gallery with a lamp which was also incredible realistic, but I can not find thie link (sorry).

regards, Phil

Hey Kosmo!

That's a very nice picture you did there! Two quick questions for you.
Do the tubes have thickness? They look a bit as they are filled with liquid,
but they should be hollow ... Is the texture you've used for the letters on
purpose "used"?

And I would really like to see some glowing tubes like this. ;o)

Keep up the good work! :D ;)

edit: Second question is obsolete! :P :D ;)

take care
