Cartoonish vikings

Post by suvakas » Tue Dec 15, 2009 10:41 am

Hey,
I had to model some cartoonish vikings as a part of a test project to one local company.
They wanted to have Gemini sign with vikings theme. I couldn't resist of rendering them in Indigo too. I got a little carried away and built a small studio around those guys. :)
Anyway.. here's couple of images done with Indigo.

Ps. Also made a walkcycle for one of them :P

Thank you guys for the nice comments.
I can assure you, that it was a very fun project to make. Much more fun, than the regular archi viz stuff. I'll probably start doing more similar things in future.

Hehe, really nice characters and very smooth walkcycle. The shots with the "back scenary" decorum are very natural, nice use of DOF and lighting. Congrats

Worth mentioning, suv :)

They don't look cartoonih at all, they look like real cartoonish sculptures if you allow the nuance !
