excellent but why u try indigo 0.5?there a lot of noise,0.6 is faster i think and more acuarate...!anyway very nice scene!

ehm yeah the noise is very heavy....
i rendered it at 400mhz and 128mb ram ~ 30h
a blendermate will render it for me once more, with 3GhzDualCore 2GbRAM. i hope ill get in noisefree.

Wow Johannes, ... very nice composition, it gives a very nice feeling.
Two things that are really bugging me => The TV stands very high
and the bookshelf very low ... I mean I would break my neck if I
would have to watch a movie at this TV ... and if I wanna read a book
I would have to almost crouch to read the titles ... but hold on, I guess
I'm just getting old ... . *LOOOOOL* Hope you don't mind.

Very nice work! (Tho I agree about the placement of the TV, especially in relation to the sofas... )
My only thot would be that I love that you have the ceiling lighting turned on, but you should turn on the lamps over the coffee table, too.
Do you have the white materials all the way up to RGB 1,1,1? I thot I read somewhere here that Ono said to turn them down a bit (like to 0.8, 0.8, 0.8 ) to make it work faster and get less noise. [Was I smokin' something or was that really what he said?]

k, later that day. but i promisse the postprocessed is ten times better than the original render..can you post the original unpostprocessed pic ?
