Hi,
Here is a project I started some times ago but I never took the time to finish it due to the huge work on modeling and texturing. Some of you may remember the image rendered with Yafray (Chènge the World). Rediscovering Indigo I took this opportunity to continue this project. The lighting is exclusively sunlight for day rendering and mesh lights for the night one. Once again I use the camera tonemapping, very useful and so near to the way a cam works. I also experimented the blend materials, used to mix several materials (glass + diffuse for instance).
Here are 5 images (4 + 1 in BW), others may come later, I'm working on a raining day version.
Comments are welcome

Wow, superb work ! Your attention to détail is impressive.
However, if you ask me, that sunny day litghting you choosed kind of doesn't suit the general mood of the scene I think.
For instance the small portion of sky you see on top right doesn't match the strong shadows.
I'd really like to see that scene on a rainy day, with wet ground etc.
But then again, great work !

Great stuff. Hyper-atmospheric. Docteur's right. You got to cook a third version with an overcast day kind of light. Maybe with HDR illumination.

Thanks to all for your comments and crits,
@drBouvierLeduc, BbB: A "Just after the rain" version is cooking and indeed I used an HDRI image for lighting (had try with about 20 images). It's quite a long work to get a nice result as each object should be changed to applied a phong shader, I think I will have to combine a wet version with a dry one. The small portion of the sky reveals an approaching storm and it should rain, hope so.
@OnoSandai: Thanks for providing such a great render engine, it's becoming better and better each day. I updated the gallery
@Vanessa07: the bags are not sculpted and the wrinkle fx is reached thanks to the texture. I used a shot I took some times ago and applied image portions on the uv mapping. I should have shot it from several points of vue to get a better result, but that's ok anyway. Il'll try to post some wires and tex images later.
@alexmeyer: I think you will not see anything else that these reference images, I've no time to loose to model such a scene

Hi Bertrand,
I'm anxious too, it is still cooking and I think I will leave the hoven at high temperature for all the night
I'm rendering two images with the same HDRI, one with phong materials and one with the base materials, mainly diffuse. The scene will be represented just after the rain. I will have to mix the 2 images to have wet and dry regions, don't know exactly what result I will get ...
I'll be back tomorrow
