These renders look like architectural renders and in a sense they obviously are, but the main purpose is actually simulating the of the LED luminaires.
Due to the very small size of the LED emitters, GPU rendering has proven to be useless. Of course I use it it for general material development, but for the final render, Bidir with MLT is the only render mode that creates good renders.

Nah, artistic freedom ;-)
But, yes, the renders have a couple minor issues that will only be visible to folks on CG forums that know what to look for
Normal people - 99.99% of the general population - won't see that.
