Modern House

Post by Lal-O » Wed Jan 03, 2018 9:16 am

Hi there guys !!!

I'd like to show you my latest work ( design, model and render ). It is just a simple modern house in México.( Night shots took forever , about 9 hrs each with OpenCL , maybe due the frosted/satin glass ). I hope you like it. :D

My best regards.

Hey Lal-O! The architectural concept is very very good!
...maybe a little too minimal, from an archviz point of view ahahahahahaha

This kind of rendering must introduce a lot of small details in order not to look fake....

I like your works.
They are great.
I also love the trees.

Please I will like to ask a question.
Did you do them in 3dsmax ? or what host software did you use ?
Please also what is the spec of your machine ?
I can see that there is no noise.

Hi ebanj88

I am glad you like my work :)
I work with Sketchup, i model everything inside sketchup and all the high poly models ( vegetation mostly) are 3ds Max models converted to .Obj format, so i can link them to my sketchup files ( as you may know Sketchup is a real mess when trying to handle high poly models ). That is how i work...Oh, and always use OpenCL for rendering 8)

The tree models are from "Xfrog" and " Vizpark Real Trees " Collections.

The noise...well , is almost not a problem anymore with this new Indigo version, but i must say that the night shots took about 8-10 hrs each, but im sure it was by the usage of light emitters behind the sating/frosted glass. The day light images was almost 30 min each.

My pc specs :
Intel I7 5960x 3.5 Ghz
64 Gb RAM
Nvidia Titan X 12 Gb

:D
