Thank Ono!

Yes it looks weird and I have no clue why it looks like that, as you said, it looks like its in a glass or smth. I did follow instructions as mentioned in Bubs post: https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vi ... 19&t=13371

I mean, it is blend material and both materials are .png files plus they have alpha maps on so I have no clue why the mesh is so visible. Maybe its due to denoiser or something as these are the first renders I did with denoiser which is, by the way, a life savior! :D

I like the renders, but wouldn't like to live in such a bedroom though (first and second namely, third is nice though, space wise), the bed is way too big for such a small space.

Thanks pixie!

Yes I agree with you, it is not very suitable for living. However my client will rent this apartment for holidays via Airbnb or Booking. Therefor his request was that it should accommodate up to 10 guests (including 2 sleeping in living room on sofa), this being said, along with additional requests such as big dinning table and sauna in one of the bathrooms, some compromises needed to be made. :)

Hi again guys, long time no see! :D

here is my, so far, career project! It is apartment complex in Laax, Switzerland, the project task was to plan and design, both exterior and interior, two new buildings and one addition to existing building in mix of contemporary and swiss-french chalet styles.

Looking forward hearing your feedback!

Many thanks guys, I appreciate it! :D

However I am not really happy with my ENV map lighting. I spent countless hours trying to make it realistic but simply failed heavily each time.

I saw that Eneen is doing some amazing shots of exterior and I did ask him in the comments if he could share a secrets, but he seems inactive on the forum.

This is his rendering thread, I mean just look at those exterior ENV lighting and shadows, saturation..... just wow

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15428

I on the other hand always have problems with burnt ENV map in the background, saturation is kinda cartoonish and I am simply not happy with the results, any tips on achieving Eneen's quality of exterior shots?

Hello Jan,

I did them with GPU and denoiser.... average is around 6-14 hours. The thing is that I left each one over the night so depends when I went to sleep and came back to work tomorrow.

I wonder if bidir pt wouldn't be better then. Interiors are quite a b*#ch to clean.
