Into the light

Hi guys,
here's another rendering I've done with Indigo. This was just a quick exercise to get my mind off current projects. Probably inspired by watching a little too much X Files over the last few weeks. Done in under one day and rendered over night.
It still amazes me how quick Indigo gives you beautiful results.
Hope you like it!
Kind Regards
Christian

Oh, very nice. It's nice to see more and more people using atmospherics within their works.
ICU !

Danke David.

@CTZn
Thank you

Rendertimes were quite bad, but that was expected I guess. But the setup on the other hand was an absolute charm and timesaver. If now in the future we could use a 3D Noise for controlling the scattering this would be awesome

As I stated into yonosoy's "Natural Situation" thread, the cloud & haze shader I have uploaded into my WIP thread can do cloudy haze.
I guess I should upload it to the mat DB. Cross-posting incoming:

Roughly for such a setup as yours, set the max haze height to 6m (tweak the vertical fallof curve so it gets very thin at mid height), max clouds height to twice or more that value, and you probably want to put a negative value into the min clouds height. That should get you started !
e: Also you may want to tweak the clouds frequency somewhat higher.
