Nice
I like the 'infinity mirrors' in the lift scene!
Are the candles life size, ie centimetres rather than metres? I'm curious as I just built a lava lamp and it rendered funny, turns out its because it was about 7 metres tall!
Good stuff!

in c4d the big candle is 100x100 meters, indigo multiplies it wit 0.01 so it is 1x1 meters...
but i guess it doesnt really matter, or does it?

Not sure.. I think it does a little bit because rays going through a bigger object would be absorbed more, so you wouldn't need as high an absorption coefficient for the same result?
Still testing that one out at the moment...
Anyway they look wicked which is what counts!

Yes for light absorbing materials, it does ! Of course if the object is bigger you can reduce absorbtion, but then it won't match real settings
Nice pics really !

ehm... yes, of course it matters when it comes to absorption... didnt really get the point...
anyway, does anyone know the ior of candle wax? couldnt find that on google or wikipedia... i guessed it must be somewhere between 1.1 and 1.2.

thx for the info. ill have to re-render the candles now. other color and more absorption though. i dont think that you can see - well i dont know what it is called - the thing that burns shining through a real candle.
