Non-UV mapping types?

Post by zeitmeister » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:15 am

Hi there,
I wondered if Indigo is able to understand other mapping types besides UV-mapping?
Especially flat/plane mapping and cylindrical mapping?

Thank you in advance!
Cheers, David

Afaik Indigo only takes UV mapping. Cindigo Exporter converts on export to that.

Way more interesting then this classic modes would be blended mapping for me:

Oh yeah... In VRED its called "Triplanar".
But the ability for other Mapping Methods would be great... Just Imagine the projection Shader in c4d.
