indigo stops to render every time at 8 minutes in mac

need some help. I'm a pc guy and just recently start rendering my images in a mac.
Since working and rendering in the same computer was getting so hectic, I started rendering the images in a spared mac I have.
problem is it stops at 8 minutes everytime, and when i restart it starts from scratch.
Anyone have had this problem before or may know what could be hapenning?
