I invested in indigo primarily to take advantage of my GPU
So the first thing I did when I got the software was to try out the testscences. It seems that I am able to render
the Erotic one with OpenCL, while the Catepillar one just spits out a black image. Disabling GPU rendering, yields a correct render.
Is this a known issue, because I couldn't seem to find anything about it on the forums.
EDIT:
This issue was resolved by downloading a newer version of indigo. Silly me

First of all you need to take care to use the latest GPU drivers for best OpenCL performance and compatibility!
If you use a NVIDIA GPU you can try the CUDA renderer too...
What GPU are you actually on?
For me the Caterpillar renders fine, but I know from the past, that quite some users had issues with that scene... its seems to be cursed

I am on a ATI radeon HD 6800 gpu running the 13.11 catalyst drivers.Zom-B wrote:First of all you need to take care to use the latest GPU drivers for best OpenCL performance and compatibility!

Hi,
I have an Asus 6850 with 13.12 drivers and a cpu q6600@3.6GHz. When I use Gpu rendering still uses the CPU maxed out and the GPU is used only 30%. I was hoping to work like LuxMark when only GPU works and you can do something else with the PC. I am a scholar and before I start learning 3D modeling and animation I want to use a good renderer - demo version it's ok, I just want to learn -.
Respectfully,
Vasile Lucian BUJOR
