Hi everybody,

I have done some test renders in my scene and am finding a big problem. Every render I do has some strange geometry added in from ceiling to floor that is not present in my Blender scene. I have attached two images, firts is the test scene where you can see what looks like a column coming down through the extractor hood and through the stove. The second image is a screenshot from the actual scene I am rendering.

Can anybody please help me with this? Please!

Thanks!

I've been using Blender and Indigo for a number of years now an have never experienced Indigo adding geometry.
I bet you have some hidden objects or meshes in your scene that are just not visible in the viewport but get exported.

I'd check the meshes first. try ALT-H in edit mode.
Perhaps also check in the outliner if an object is set to be non-visible.

It looks like you used a boolean operator to cut the coloum with the extractor hood thing. And the original mesh stayed there! As headroom pointed out, alt-h will show hidden objects in object mode, and the outliner is a great organizational tool.
I haven't used booleans in a while, it might be important to apply the modifier?!
