HELP: looking for texture

Post by Pibuz » Sat Jun 15, 2013 4:47 am

Hi guys!
First time in my life I have a window just beside the POV, so I can see the small metal element which keeps the two or more glass panes detached from each other..
You know what I'm trying to describe?..

Do you guys have any good texture for that?

Thanks a lot in advance..

Hi Pibuz,

I have this, not perfect but correct. To be used with an aluminum material. If you don't have an extreme closeup, should be OK.

The spacer is normally 16mm thick on modern glazings. The width of the image corresponds to the thickness; so the other one repeats every 5mm or so.

The material is often aluminum (use a specular with nk data, with some exponent to tune), but sometimes, it's also a black paint (such as in my current flat)
