Transferring a scene from 7 to XP

Hello,
Im about to transfer a scene, from a XP pc to a Windows 7.
the reason is that on the Windows 7, it has Nvidia GT 430, Intel Core i3 larger than in XP.
i'm also wondering what's the use of the "Pack Indigo Scene/Pack Indigo Material" in the tools button.
maybe that option would work
I would try it also, but i need some feedbacks...
thanks..........

Packing a file makes it portable, wether a scene or a material.
You need to load the scene in Indigo-XP, pack it to PIGS then load the PIGS in Indigo-7. Some exporters may allow packing from the host application.

Rings a bell, I remind that similar errors were reported by SkIndigo users.
I don't know what the fix might be, you should post/search into the SketchUp forum. Don't forget to specify the SkIndigo version you are using there.

oh, i found one
but its about the special letters like ü & ö
in my .exr's name, it has the underscores _
maybe this underscore also affects my packing...

Underscores are totally ok. Perhaps I made up the SkIndigo thing, I was sure I read such report then Whaat fixed the issue in a successive version. Perhaps it does not relate with the exporter at all.
Still, you can zip the two igs files that SkIndigo generates. They are by default into "C:\Users\*current user*\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer" on Windows.
The best I can do is to hand edit the files eventually, I don't have a better clue.
