Skindigo, Focal Point problem [Known Bug]

Hello everyone,
I'm extremely impressed with the quality of indigo rendered images I've seen about on the internet and I decided to get my hands dirty as well.
I'm trying to set the focal point in my image to focus on a door handle close to the camera rather than the wall in the distance, but when I apply the focal point on the handle, apply the camera to the scene & model, then render, the wall in the distance is in focus but not the handle? When I move the camera closer to the handle, the handle comes into focus as if auto focus is on but I have it unchecked? I tried reseting the camera but to no avail.
I apologize for the premature render but these renders are taking me a good 2-3 hours per frame on my puny i7 machine.
I'm using a shallow DOF with the aperture at F/1.4
It's probably a human error so what am I doing wrong?
Thanks guys and keep the inspiration coming!
EDIT::
It seems to be a bug in skindigo. "Apply to scene" keeps autofocus on regardless if it's checked or not. If you create a new scene and only click "apply to model", it should work.

Welcome Joey
Indigo has an auto-focus feature, make sure that it is ticked off in SkIndigo. Just a headsup, I don't know where exactly it is placed...
When it's on, Indigo will focus the surface in the center of the image.

Hey CTZn, Thanks for the welcome and reply!
I triple checked to see if autofocus was off and it was.
It's under under Plugins -> Skindigo -> Render Settings -> Camera
I've tried unchecking autofocus, apply to scene, apply to model, but nothing seems to be working? I've made absolutely sure the focal point is on the handle too?

I checked your image and, effectively auto-focus was off. I can't give you the answer you need because it is specific to SkIndigo. Hold on, you should be heard.
Your best pick though would be to post in the
SkIndigo forum !

Sure it would.
BTW, just to make sure: you want the handle on focus and everything else out of focus?
If so, it's good to have a f=1.4, right choice
As you already did, UNCHECK the autofocus option and pick the desired focal point.
Apply the changes to your scene/model.
This is the basic workfow. It usually works (99.9999% of the times..).
Try again, if it still doesn't work, try sending me the scene, I'd give it a shot, no problem.

Wow, I really appreciate the quick responses guys! I'll head over to the sketchup forum.
Pibuz, I've attached a .zip with the project and scene. I hope you can help me figure this out!
Thanks again guys!

Ok Joey, I gave your scene a look. There is actually something wrong with it: I tried the normal procedure and that didn't work. I thought it was something scale-related (I usually work in meters, and Indigo too..) but that wasn't the problem.
Then I simply copied all the objects of the scene into a new file, repeated the usual DOF workflow and it all was all right. I guess something got messed up when you tried the new "apply to scene/to model" feature. It is a new entry so it may be still very buggy.
Attached my test file.

That was going to be my next step
You're right though it is a bug. It seems to be the "apply to scene" that breaks it and keeps it in autofocus. If I create a new scene and do not apply the camera to the scene and just the model, it works fine.
Thanks a bunch for the help Pibuz! I'm glad we were able to figure it out!

No problem, my pleasure.
Hope Whaat is following this thread so he can add this issue to the "Save to scene/model" feature bugs (and hopefully fix it).

Thanks for the bug reports! I will try to fix this next release.
I hope it was worth the effort to add the 'Apply to Scene' feature. I had a feeling that it could be still buggy.

It is indeed very handy...once it works properly!
