Indigo Renderer Forum

Hello to everyone! I know indigo for a few months and finally I decide to register:) I was using some of popular renders before like maxwell, mentalray v-ray, fryrender but non of these made such impression on me like indigo. Easy of use and quality are just great! I am still amazed:)

Those are few renders I would like to share and few questions:

1. What's difference between "transparent" glass and "glossy:99999" glass? cuz I thought transparent object shouldn't reflect anything.

2. Is there an option to disable vignetting? I am amature photographer, and this "feature" is very unwanted in my lens. If nessesary I can add it in photoshop in no time. So I'd rather want to add vignetting than constantly remove it.

Sorry but I'm more a viewer than a user, and I don't know the answers to your questions.

you should be able to reduce the vignetting by using a higher f/stop (smaller aperture) and longer lens length. wide angle lenses should show more severe vignetting.

Wow. Cool house! I'd like to see it from the inside with some env map

It was designed for my school project:) I have one interior shot of this house but around 1k spp and still noisy:( When I finish it, I'll post on forum.

Im cooking pictures on my i7 up to 48hrs

My friend bought i7 in last month and wow it is almost 15x faster than my p4 3ghz when it comes to rendering. I think it's time to buy new pc;)

EDIT: So how about this glass? When I should use "transparent" and when "glossy:99999"??

I really love the torus-blueglass-glossy10000. The white lines that appear at the top are cool.
