My first render

I've been using sketchup for a while, making construction drawings for various things at work, but never thought there would be possible to draw rendered images with sketchup. Untill I tried googling it, that is :)

Anyway, here's my first rendering, any comments would be great.

As you can see on the big windows, I'm having problems letting the sun in.
On the inside of the window, I have a PNG image with translucent parts, but I can't make the sun shine through the clear parts, making shadows inside the room. :S

Anyone know if this is even possible?

Think I fixed the problem with my windows.. Obviously it's not finished rendering.

Anyone got any ideas for improvement?

wow, nice start!

maybe give the floor a different material?
Is this pure white? Dont use pure white, it reflects too much light and it renders much longer. Better use 85 or 80% white.

I think the screens should emit brighter or something - they don't look quite right to me. The design on the glass wall is crazy, nice first render :)

The glass is awesome!

As mentioned, brighter screens + textured floor would make for a very handsome render.
