Extreme Instancing

I decided to do an instancing test inspired by a render I saw on the Fryrender website: http://www.fryrender.com/sh_images/gall ... 20cars.jpg
Here are some stats:

Total cars = 40,616
Total tris = 1.8 billion
Total tris per car = 44,789
Total unique materials = 40,616 (randomly generated at export time)

The scene was created with the development version of SkIndigo using dummy instancing. Model is from 3D Warehouse.

EDIT: Sorry I was mistaken. The number of faces was equal to the number of tris  I need to find a model with more tris than the Fryrender model....Also, added close-up view. (I know the materials need work...)

Um...I am pretty sure there is a floor. It is supposed to be dark grey but it came out looking bluish. I'll try to remember to post the RAM used later...

mine was 11,830,830,000 triangles and used micropoly displacement on the ground, wich rise the polycount even higher ;)
