HeyHo,
16 Hour rendering on my P4 2.8
this is a subway scene which i im working on..

Wow, this is a fantastic image...
You caught the right mood. Lighting is superb.
Just one little remark: Did you add the 'volumetric light' to the tube light in photo editor?...It is a little greyish and kind of gives it away.

Hmm... really nice! But you should increase the super sampling factor... Hi-contrast pixels are pretty much aliased...

no this is just the bloom, was a quick test to run violet with wine on my linux.

Kram yes but this is just a little test to see how light goes, there are a lot of things to modell and texturing. in some days i get my core 2 duo

i hope then rendertimes are more fun hehe

And now the weather is above 10°C my comp can't use all it's power
Nice pic btw, the neons look weak tho. and their temperature is too hot, they should be more reddish
Edit: blueish I meant of course...

about 4 hours rendertime .. "bidir on"
the scene itself didnt change much

Kram: the Textures are mostly the same as in the first version.
a higher resolution image i will render if all the modell and texture stuff is finish
there is much to do for me, details little lights textures and probs. the train also needs some doors. i would like to have a lot of small light edges. the ground is too clean ;o)
