Hi guys,
still working on my last entry for may's competition.
As there is a lot of worries with the topology...
Image
I decided to redo it completely in C4d only. it's a little challenging for me, because I'm pretty new with this software, but I learn a lot. Thank you to all the Glare's team to create contests that motivate

I wanted to make a light topology perfectly suited to the subdivision proposed by Indigo
here some screenshoots with wired and preview with sudivision x5, the final shape like rounded corner are done by Indigo.

I used a lot of instances, even for the tire I have done again and which retains all the editing functions in the final version
1 segment

add a symetry

30 instances radially cloned

and some images all done with GPU mode, rays are done using motionBlur

Thank you for reading

Hello,
Image
As there was a defect near the grid, I integrated it into the main form with the side of the vehicle.

here is the result

As this model must support a subdivision and smoothing of 5 by Indigo engine, the modifications must be done with caution, sometimes to within 1 point, the subdivision can give an explosive result, look at this, the difference is the welding of one point only.

Nice to see that you use Cinema4D and do all the modelling by yourself :D Does this car exist in real life or is this design done by yourself ?

subdivisions of 5 is really high. Maybe increase the amount of loops at bevels and set sub and smooth to 3?
