Stage locations normally have a number of service points (electricity, audio / video) that are required, especially in older installations, typically you also have some sort of floor access point (covered by a brass plate in some instances) on one or two points on the floor.
The signage in the back seems a little dead, these are quite often some kind of illuminated (even fluorescent) signage, if not then it is at least well lit.
Stages often have a curtain arrangement on the sides, a specific arrangement to exclude field of view to back stage but to allow back stage good view of stage. I looks like you have some kind of stair arrangement here?
Overhead beams (much like you have in the back, only much further to the front) with lighting arrangements (even if not used in the actual lighting a the occasion) is often descernable, maybe try adding some?

I like the scene!
I agree with Juju about the overhead beams, I would even consider making each one bigger... did you model it with a reference?
They also need be wired (electricity + DMX), that should be hardly visible only, but could add some nice subtle realism/feel to it.
Also consider to add 1 or 2 monitor speakers so the artist can hear him or herself, like https://www.rockshop.de/veranstaltungst ... ix-coaxial
And while we're at it, the floor cour be a litte more worn, perhaps you could use a dirtmap?

nice work snorky, I like the mood. You're achieving a nice ambiance there!
One question, how did you create the volumetric lights?
cheers!

Thanks to everyone for your help, I have really appreciated it, but the person I'm working for told me that he likes the image in the way is now... he doesn't want to improve anything.
the second step is trying to realize a "simple" light effect in a video...
I hope indigo 4 includes export video enhancements because now it is tedious to make it
